Bird Park Highlights
1. Birds of Prey Flight Show
Birds of prey flight demonstrations are scheduled daily at 11 am and 3 pm. They include eagles, falcons, and owls.
A fascinating and unique flight show of more than 40 minutes. Learn everything about the falconry and birds of prey, their protection and why they are endangered, their amazing skills and about their importance in the balance of nature.
2. Moderated Barbary Macaque Feeding
After the birds of prey flight demonstrations you can see the moderated barbary macaque feeding, at 12 noon and 4 pm. You can feed barbary macaques for free with our special fruit.
3. Kangaroos
Our Bennett’s kangaroos in the open-air enclosure enjoy making contact with visitors. They carry their babies in the mother’s pouch for approx. 280 days. When the weather is nice, the young Bennett’s kangaroos leave their mother’s pouch on occasion to pick some herbs.
4. Children's playground
On the edge of the park are the big play and adventure area, the petting zoo with pygmy goats, a garden, picnic areas and shelters. For groups in the Bird Park 2 coffee and snack bars for each 100 seats available.
In 2009, near the park entrance, inaugurated a new children's playground, it is above a new visitors' terrace. It can be a whole long day in the Bird Park
